“Sorry, that email address is already used!”

After resetting my password I tried to login into the website using the following link but I receive an error message saying my email address is already used. I’m not sure how to fix the issue but for now I can’t log into my account for my website which I need for work. I used to work on another website using the same email address but I was able to log into that profile and change the email address to another one. The admin of the website had sent a first activation email to set my password before sending a second one – could that be causing a bug?
