  • I’m having the same issue. Click on any event on the calendar and now a 404 Error is displayed… https://drinkwisconsinbly.com/events-calendar/

    Any thoughts?!

I’m having the same problem, when I hit the link to view the page, I get page doesn’t exist. I’m currently working in localhost, but I don’t see how that should affect anything

Hello. Is anybody else having issues with 404 errors and pages not loading?

    Checking back again. Anybody?

Howdy folks, thanks for getting in touch!

It sounds like we have two separate issues here:

@zlewi510: It sounds like you are not seeing your published events in the WordPress admin after you have published them. Is it possible that there is a conflict with your theme or perhaps another installed plugin that is causing this to happen? Please try running though these steps to see if that uncovers something.

@lorbach: It sounds like you are able to see your events in the WordPress admin, but not on the website itself. Is that correct? If you’re getting a “Page not found” message, there are some things you can try. Will you please give them a shot to see if you notice a difference: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/

    Thanks!

    I resolved the issue.

    Thanks for the response.

Thank you! This fixed the issue.

If most pages/posts on your site are working as expected and it seems like only event pages are being impacted, then it’s possible that all you need to do is refresh your permalink settings. Even if you’re already using pretty permalinks, you’ll want to refresh your permalink settings:

Login to the WordPress admin area
Visit the Settings > Permalinks screen
Select the Post Name option from the list of common settings (or another one of the non-Default options)
    Save the changes

Sounds like we’re all good here – any object to us marking this topic resolved?

    All good. Thx again!

    Awesome – thanks!
