sorry for asking too many questions

  • Hi guys, I am load questions to ask you, even thought I have read “New to WP- where to start” almost 10 times, but I still get stuck at some point.
    This is my website
    1. What is the different between Pages and Categories?
    2. How to reduce the width site?
    3. Is Entries RSS, Comments RSS, Valid XHTML 1.0, Valid CSS 2 important. and how I can delete them?

    Could you guys take you time to look at this web

    I just want my web appears HOME, ABOUT US, FORUM, PICTURE, DONATION like the web I showed you, I dont want the word “Pages” or “Categories” at all.

    Also, I want to add a link to “forum”, so when people click on “forum” they will direct to different page.

    Any idea will be appriciated.

    2. You would probably need to edit your theme’s stylesheet.

    3. The first 2 (RSS feeds) might be helpful to visitors who want to subscribe to your feeds but they are by no means essential. The second 2 can be simply removed – again by editing one of your theme’s template files.

    No problem. Neither of those words need to appear on any of your menus. Or even in your (perma)links if you don’t want them to. All it will take is the right settings in WordPress and possibly a little theme tweaking.

    Also, I want to add a link to “forum”, so when people click on “forum” they will direct to different page.

    Looking at your current site, that would probably be best achieved by editing the sidebar of whatever theme you choose and adding the link to the forum manually.
