Thanks very much for taking a look.
– The message occurs on clicking send after entering a new subscription email address.
-There are no other subscription plugins on the site. this is the site;
https://www.heatherburns.co.uk/my-blog/subscribe-to-my-blog/
-I checked with all other plugins deactivated and the custom theme turned off. The error still occured.
– There’s one strange thing; on being told about this scenario by my client I went to their site and found TWO instances of the subscription page in the menu. I removed one but you can still see this duplication on the staging site:
https://hburns.twosixtwo.co.uk/
Needless to say this wasn’t how I built the site. The live and staging site’s plugins and wordpress are regularly auto updated.
– The same issue occors on the staging site BUT it alos displays this error message:
“Warning: idn_to_ascii() expects parameter 2 to be integer, string given in /var/www/vhosts/twosixtwo.co.uk/hburns.twosixtwo.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/classes/class-s2-core.php on line 1037
