    Hi Mike. Firts of all, thanks for this great tool.
    I′m wandering why inmediately after I installed the pluging, I could share my posts without any problems. But some minutes after, things went wrong again. In some cases, it shows the correct image. In others, it catches another (generally, an add on the homepage). And finally, sometimes it also ignores de tittle and the excerpt and just shows the name of the webiste.
    If I copy and past de URL into de Facebook sharing box, it doesn′t work neither.

    Hi Estaban,

    Looking at the source I can see og:description is empty, which means you’ve probably got some sort of conflict happening.

    The plug-in works by first checking to see if the post has an except, and there is one it will be used when shared on Facebook. If there is no except, then it scrapes your content instead.

    Both the_except and the_content are stock standard WordPress functions, and so if neither are working then it leads me to believe the functionality has been hijacked (or replaced) by another plugin or possibly your theme.

    With this in mind there is not anything I can do as it’s outside the control of this plug-in.

    But you could try these troubleshooting tips.

    1) Try a different theme. test again.
    2) Try disabling plugins one at a time, test again until the problem goes away.

    I suggest the best way to see if everything is working is to refresh the page, view its source code and look for…

    <meta property="og:description" content="" />

    If content="" is empty, then the problem is still there. If it shows text in there, then it’s working.

    Failing all that, you could try an alternative plug-in and see if that makes a difference.

    Really thank you for your time.
    I′ll try to find what is going wrong.
    It′s strange: the fist time I shared an article after installing your plugin, it worked ok: title, text and image. But if I inmediately try the same link again, the image doesn′t appear. Instead, it shows the add I told you before. And if I do the same several times, it still doesn′t work.
