• My website doesn’t use https. But in some cases (I can’t reproduce them, this time it was after a user came from a link at Google+), WordPress uses the https protocoll for all links at the frontend. The results are that the stylesheet isn’t loaded and the browser notifys the user about an unsecure https link after clicking a link in the navigation.

Has somebody an idea what the problem could be?

WordPress uses the https protocoll for all links at the frontend.

I know you can’t reproduce it on demand but can you humor me and try? My Chrome browser does that on my test sites (I use https on non-test sites) and it drove me nuts, especially when I didn’t setup HTTPS. My solution was to use Firefox. Can you see if the issue ever reproduces on FF?

WordPress won’t randomly generate https URLs but my Chrome browser didn’t care and tried anyway.
