    Hi there,

we have the problem that from time to time orders end up in the shopping cart with missing attributes (size, color). These are variable products. Unfortunately, the customers then have to be asked again which properties they have selected.

What could be the reason for this? The product data is complete and the attributes are correctly assigned for the problematic products. There are also mixed shopping carts where only one product has missing attributes.

We cannot establish a connection with the visitor’s browser or operating system. The problem occurs in about 1% of orders since the online store went live in early 2021. All plugins, WordPress and the theme are up to date.

    Thanks
    Bernward

  • Hey @maspohl,

That is unusual. Several months ago there was an issue with variable products so that the parent product could be purchased if there was a JavaScript error or the parent product ID was passed with the add-to-cart URL method.

Both of those have since been patched and I can’t use either to actually add a product to the cart on your site.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.

    Thanks!
