sometimes it uses wp admin email instead of FROM address

    This issue is not the same as the previous one. I have several domains using this plugin. On one of them, the FROM email is always set to the WP admin email in Settings>General, even if I use custom headers and change it.

    I am not using any other SMTP plugins, but I do suspect that the theme or perhaps Contact Form 7 or some plugin is modifying the headers before sending. If I figure it out, I’ll let you know.

    oh and on the domain that is not working correctly, i also note that the FROM NAME is always the site title, not WordPress, as is usually the case. So this FROM header is definitely getting modified somehow.

    Figured it out. There is a paid plugin called PauPress which is overwriting the from email header. I’m going to take it up with them.
