    Hello,

sometimes when I want to see the results of a poll on my page the error “Failed To Verify Referrer” appears. How can I avoid this message, it is pretty annoying. Some people don′t want to vote but wanna take a look at the results and such a message should never appear on the frontend… so why does it come up and how can I hide this error so that just the correct results are shown?

    Regards!

Unfortunately this did not help. Yes, I am using W3TC and it works fine. The error message about the “Failed to Verify Referrer” does not come up every time you open a page – it sometimes appears, sometimes not. And every 24 hours all caches are cleared up.

I had the feeling the error comes up when for example opening Chrome without visiting any website before the blog – when clicking on “Show results” the error appears.

In W3TC Minifiy options I have set wp-content/plugins/wp-polls/polls-js.js in the JS-settings and option “Embed after <body>” – so I don′t think this is the reason for the problem. And yes, even if your JS is already minified it would take one more request if I would not put it into Minify-options.

    Any other advice?

Do you have a site URL that I can see the problem? Because sometimes work and sometimes doesn’t makes it very difficult to debug.

The other issue I can think is the payload within the AJAX call does not contain the nonce data which will happen (though rarely) if you have a broken HTML structure

Can you please deliver me an emailadress, I don′t want to publish the URL here.
