Something wrong with presented thumbnails.

    Hi,
    our SoundBytes magazine ( https://soundbytesmag.net) use your plugin for presenting all categories on all pages. Since last update thumbnails are not stretched correctly, all thumbnails missing left and right side of the picture.

    I knew eventually I would see an issue like this when I went through the shortcode, and I’m not sure how much help I can provide on my end.

    APL uses wp_get_attachment_image_src() within the [post_thumb] shortcode, but WP doesn’t do any formatting with its function. Instead, it grabs the closest image size it can find on file.

    One solution I’ve seen others mention, is using an Image Resizer plugin, but I haven’t found much of a solution on my end other than formatting the image beforehand for featured images.

    Perhaps, once I get extension support, I can better support other plugins with APL.

    btw.. how that this issue appeared now, after four years using your plugin?

    I’ve been out of town as well. Main reason why I haven’t been able to test/debug this yet.

    That’s pretty awesome you’ve used this plugin for 4 years.

    Idk why it’s acting up. The only difference now it uses a proper shortcode method instead of the old callback method, but for the most part it grabs the content directly.

    I won’t know for sure until I get home.

    Sorry for the confusion. I meant to replay to a different thread about debugging.

    In this case, I could try looking for a plugin that could work hand-in-hand. APL though, would have to undergo further development to reformat images accordingly, but your best bet is to get a plugin that is designed to handle image files.

    I’ve fixed the issue with the plugin that you suggested.
    Now is everything ok.
    It is really great plugin, can’t imagine our site without it. ??

    Glad to hear that was able to fix the issue. I help as best as I can even if it is outside of APL.

    I know what you mean, APL provides more than what WP and most Themes can. If you’d like to check it, here’s a sample site I’ve been working on recently. Just about everything displayed is from APL.
