Hello, I have a site created in WordPress. Yesterday it was working fine. Today I noticed the home page is something from old and long ago. The other pages are working, but the home page is old data.

I logged into WP admin and verified my home page is still there.

But, when I go to the home page URL, it shows an old page.

I have contacted my host and they think the permalink for the home page was changed, but I haven’t touched it.

Will someone please look at it and make a suggestion as to how to fix this?

    Thank you!

Don’t know… I just took my host’s advice and tried changing something…. I was on the main settings page in WP admin – it was set to https://www.JoanieMoore.com/wp and I tried removing the WP – then I got Error 404 not found… now I can’t log in…. now what?!?! If I can log in, I can look at the Reading settings. Any suggestions on how to log back in?

Anyone? any suggestions how I can log back in? I have gotten the log in screen but after entering my UN and PW it says page not found…. ugh.

…………. I have been able to get back into the admin area. The readings show my home page as the static front page, which is where it should be. I’m back to square one again – it’s pointing to my old html home page, not the wordpress site.
