I’ll be sharing different steps on how this issue can be resolved. Please try them one by one and let me know the steps that work for you. (Only try the 2nd step if the 1st doesn’t help)

1. Reset WP Options

1) Deactivate Facebook for WooCommerce under Plugins > All Plugins

2) Navigate to your WordPress options page https://example.com/wp-admin/options.php (Replace example.com with your domain. I recommend taking a backup of your site)

3. Clear the value of the following fields:

wc_facebook_external_business_id
?wc_facebook_system_user_id?
wc_facebook_business_manager_id?
wc_facebook_merchant_access_token
?wc_facebook_page_access_token?
wc_facebook_page_id?
wc_facebook_pixel_id?

4) Once that’s done, re-activate Facebook for WooCommerce extension under Plugins > All Plugins

5. Go to Marketing > Facebook and click “Get Started” to set up the extension

The steps reset Facebook for WooCommerce data so you can reconnect.

If that doesn’t work, try this:

2. Delete Facebook for WooCommerce DB tables

One of the most reliable ways to resolve the plugin’s setup issue is to delete the plugin’s data completely and set up on a clean slate. (I highly recommend taking a backup of your site)

1) Access your site’s database using either PHPmyadmin or the WP PHPmyAdmin plugin.

2) Go to the options table (wp_options) > Search the option_name for %%like%% with a value of wc_facebook

3) That will show all the options saved for the Facebook for WooCommerce extension, select all and delete.
