Hey @liatto – There are a few reasons that error message can occur, but I would suggest enabling logging in the Facebook plugin settings (Marketing > Facebook) and then making sure that the shop currency is set to one of the currently-supported options: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR.

If so, change the store currency to one of the other options and then change it back and retry.

Hey @mutdog – Try the above as well, and if that doesn’t help, create a new thread of your own and we’ll help you there.

@shaunkuschel thank you for your fast replay. I looked at the settings at Marketing – Facebook and the product sync is enabled, I am not able to change any of the options as it is not connected. I have changed the currency to USD and also to EUR, but again everything is good until the final step. On the Facebook side it says You are all Set and the On WooCommerce I get Something went wrong.

    Hey there @liatto,

Could you follow the instructions from here to completely remove the facebook app and then connect again?

    (@liatto)

@simplysaru thank you for your answer. I have checked the link, but the problem is that I do not have the Disconnect option. This is what I do have – https://vanitta.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-from-2021-07-01-11-23-09.png

@liatto Thanks for letting us know.

Could you reconnect the extension (https://d.pr/i/M3UlSf) and then return to following the disconnection steps linked above?

@kvvsi thank you again for the fast response. I clicked on the link and I followed all the steps, Facebook said you are all set, but again I got the same mistake from Woo. https://vanitta.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-from-2021-07-02-10-56-58.png

    Hey there @liatto,

Looks like your store currency (Bulgarian Lev) isn’t a supported currency on Facebook and hence you are getting this error.

Here is a list of supported currencies.

You could try changing the currency to EUR or GBP temporarily during the connection and back to your native later. This might work. If that doesn’t then I am afraid this might work for you at all as the currency isn’t supported by Facebook.

    Thread Starter liatto

    (@liatto)

@simplysaru I already changed the currency to the supported one and still I get the same message. It was working fine before the plugin updated even though the currency wasn`t supported. The store was connected fine.
Also I do have few more online stores the are with the same BGN currency and they are working fine and were able to reconnect. I don`t think is the currency.

How I can delete the plugin and delete all the values that it created inside the database? Maybe getting a fresh copy will work?

    Hey @liatto,

Could you try to delete the options via https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php, please search for wc_facebook_external_business_id from there and remove this and try again.

If you do have access to the database, please free to delete the following tables after removing the plugin first.

     wc_facebook_product_catalog_id
      wc_facebook_external_merchant_settings_id
      wc_facebook_feed_id

Do keep us posted on how this troubleshooting works out for you.

@simplysaru thank you! There is something really strange. I have removed the plugin, but there are no tables like these in the database. I then installed the plugin again and these tables are still missing. Could that be the thing that causing the problem. Maybe it didn`t populate the tables inside the database?
If so can I do that by myself?

    Hi @liatto

Thanks for your reply. That is definitely odd that the tables are missing like that! I would recommend downloading a fresh copy of the plugin and manually installing it. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, then I would suggest manually adding the tables to the database as you have suggested.

You can use a plugin like WP phpMyAdmin to help with this. Let us know how this goes!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

@laceyrod I have tried manually to install, but the tables are still missing.
Which tables do I need to create and what should be the query
