    after updating plugin to 2.01 and reconnecting to my shop in Facebook everything going ok until last step show that massage ( Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook!)

    I have the exact same issue. I’ve tried everything suggested on googles and other forum without success.

    I have already followed instruction on -Connect your WooCommerce account to Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/900699293402826. I create wordpress.com account, install Jetpack then install Facebook for Woocommerce through my site at wordpress.com. Also no success

    Here is my details
    1) Woocommerce 4.4.1
    2) WordPress 5.5
    3) Facebook for Woocommerce 2.0.1
    4) PHP 7.3.17-1+focal (Supports 64bit values)
    5) mysqlnd 5.0.12-dev – 20150407
    6) WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT 256M
    7) WP Cron enabled

    I have contacted both Facebook and Skyverge. Hope we finally get solution

    Anyone managed to fix this? I tried in the last 3 days to connect to Woocommerce. One finished without a problem. In the other, I keep getting the above error.

    Same issue for me. Version 2.0 was connecting fine, but now 2.0.1 will not connect.

    When I am at the prompt “You’ve previously linked WooCommerce Extension V2 to Facebook” and I click Edit Settings, or I try to edit settings later, I get the list of setting, but any setting I click results in an “Oops, something went wrong” message, which stops the configuration process.

    In instead I just confirm the given settings (which incidentally I need to edit) and finish the configuration it all seems to go well but ends with a message “Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook! Please try again.” at a URL:

    I have tried every variation of the above that I can come up with no different results. Has anyone found any clues?

    Same here… I even tried opening a new Facebook account. Nothing helps. I guess we have to wait for the next update…

    We’re working closely with the Facebook team to identify the cause of these general errors and the Facebook team has addressed the vast majority of these thus far. I’m sorry that your accounts are still being affected by the connectivity issues.

    Would you all please reach out to our support team through our site sharing the email address you use for your Facebook account so the Facebook team can take a look at the logs and determine why your attempts to connect are failing?

    Also helpful will be:

    1. A screenshot of the specific error you’re getting
    2. Your system status

    Yes i contact support team and she take my business manger id and i didn’t get update until now
