It looks like you’re hosting company is blocking all of your sending ports. You’ll need to contact them and ask them to open one of those ports to allow you to send email.

This is not uncommon of various hosting providers. We do have an option in our pro version to use API sending, which prevents the hosting provider from interfering with sending messages because the messages do not use standard email ports.

Yes, I find that, installed WP – Mail SMTP, set everything as it is on one of my other site, tested WP-Mail SMTP, no error, I got test mail – but still got no results from Sendpress.
When I press the send, selecting the list and sending it again, looksl ike nothing happened.

I have my address also in this List, so I should get a mail. Whenever I try to send test mail, it works, but not the mail from the Mail part of your plugin.

Are both sites with the same host?

I’m not familiar with Wp-mail-SMTP. Are there settings for that. Does it send without it?

I’ll check on the difference between test email and queued email and see if I can fin an explanation for that.

Both same host, only Soundbytes use new Sendpress and new WP.

Test mail works fine from Sendpress even without Wp-mail SMTP, also test mail works fine from W?-mail SMTP. somehow, it doeasn’t send regular mail to the selected (one and only :)) List.

Still waiting on a developer to discuss this with. We are short staffed due to the holiday.

I still believe the issue is that the ports are blocked. We had a pro customer with exact same issues and when the hosting company opened the ports it all started working.

The ports are definitively blocked, as Bluhost said that they allow ports to be opened just for php.

The catch is that older version of Sendpress plugin in combination with Wp mail SMPT works perfectly on my other site ( with older version of WP)

I simply can’t find where is the catch.

I might have some time to take a look at it this weekend If I can log into your site. If that’s okay with you, send me the login information. My email address is Doug at sendpress dot com.

If I had to guess, there’s something going on that is making the Messages be sent without PHP. If they are trying to be sent using SMTP and bluehost is blocking the ports, then that’s probably issue.

You could ask bluehost to open port 25 for you to see if that fixes the problem. If they won’t, your choices are probably two switch hosting providers or purchase the pro version, which has the ability to send using a third-party API that does not require SMTP ports to be open.

just so you know, I got your email and I have logged in to check things out. I am still investigating, but didn’t want you to think I had forgotten.

I know – thanks, I noticed your test mail. ??

The catch is that I’ve tried to send test mail also, and it worked, but for some reason it didn’t worked when I tried to send mails to our subscriber.

I actually waited about 15 minutes and the message actually came through.

Please do some more testing now that the SMTP plug-in has been disabled. Let me know if you get different or the same results now.

I should note that I also created a subscriber list with me on it. So it was definitely not a test email.
