Someone is preventing users of my store from signing in.

  • The problem is that someone is setting me an ever-increasing password strength for users. Half a year ago, people set stronger passwords, they had to write it down, and some thug changed that they had to come up with an even stronger, stronger password. They consider it a mistake and go away. And I lose sales and customers. I’m helpless against it. What should I tell them if they can’t sign up?

    How is that even possible? Are you using a check password strength plugin?

    I do not use such a plugin.
    After no one bought for several days and one customer complained that he could not log in, I tried to change his password and a message appeared:

    Hint: The selected password should be at least 12 characters long.
    You can get a more secure password by combining uppercase and lowercase letters,
    digits and symbols such as! “? $% ^ &).

    I do not use such a plugin.

    I have not seem that in WordPress core lately. Check if the theme comes with a password strength feature.
