    Hey guys,

    having a little problem with this plugin.

    When MetaSlider is enabled the edit part of WordPress is buggy. I’m not sure if that’s an old bug or something because I usually don’t have other authors except me. When MetaSlider is disabled everything works fine and he ask if I want to take the control. So let’s go into detail.

    I’m the admin and there is a user called blubb. blubb is currently editing and when I as admin go into the edit of his post I’ll get this message after about 15 seconds:

    Admin-view

    On blubb’s screen everything is fine and still working:
    User blubb-view

    So why MetaSlider is acting there somehow? I’m just using MetaSlider on the main screen and nowhere else.

    Someone an idea?

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I wanted to test it out myself first and I haven’t had the chance to do that yet. This is the first I’ve seen of this ‘Someone else is editing your document’ functionality.

    What happens when you click ‘Meta Slider’? Do you get control of the document?

    No I somehow will be directed to the MetaSlider Overview where I can create new ones. It’s like such a link:

    Edit: Usually without your plugin, as I said I instantly get the information that someone is editing and so on. All this is not shown up for me.

    Shall I give you a list of my other Plugins?

    No need for other plugins. Are you using the latest version? (2.6.3)

    A change went in recently that may have fixed it. If you are on the latest version then it’ll take a bit of time on my end to set this up and test it, so please bear with me.

    Already some news about the next version my friend?

    HI kwoxer,

    Not yet sorry.. not many fixes have gone in (none since, I don’t think). I generally try to stack up fixes and release them in chunks.

    That said, it’s quite simple to install the development version:

    Download the zip file from the link above (the one called ‘development version’)
    Go to Plugins, Deacivate and Delete Meta Slider (you wont lost your slides)
    Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload, and select the development version zip file
