Some WPML translations do not appear

    Hello. Your plugin is great, but I have an issue regarding translating the plugin with WPML.

    My main language is Portuguese and I translated all texts to 3 more languages using strings.

    When I click in “cookies definitions” in the bar, the pop-up appears, but the “essentials” and “non essentials” titles are always in portuguese, and also the text they contain below.

    Any solution?

    It seems translations for the cookie category are not given properly. Could you confirm this by going through this article here?

    Hello. Made some changes according to the doc, and now 1 of the 3 languages are fully translated, the other 2 have the same problem as before.

    I only need a banner with some phrases in 4 languages and a link to my cookie Policy, and that′s it. Your plugin works fine for 1 language, but is kind of cumbersome for multi languages, even for a WP veteran like me.

    Hi again. So I solved the problem by doing this:

    – Reset the plugin to default
    – deactivated the plugin
    – deleted all cache from the website AND deleted cache from Varnish. Don’t ask me why, but sometimes my website doesn’t update unless I clear Varnish.
    – Activated the plugin

    Now all text are translated. The only “problem” is that in my English version of the site, when I click in Cookie Definitions, I get a list of all the cookie categories. It’s only in the English version of the site.

    I dont want to delete all those cookie categories in the back office, so how do I remoe them from the banner?

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

    To remove the categories other than essential and non-essential from the cookie definition popup you have only the option to delete the other categories from GDPR cookie consent > cookie category. Sorry to let you down.

    @webtoffee not a big deal, i will leave those cookies in the English version of the site.

    Great plugin.
