Some widgets show only top-level categories

  • When using the theme widgets, News Slider widget, News Ticker widget and Highlighted News widgets category shows only the top-level categories, no sub-categories. Can we make all the categories appear? Thank you.

    By the default, the theme does not support so show the subcategories. If you want to show all the categories, please edit the file

    /wp-content/themes/easymag-pro/inc/widgets/widgets.php

    remove all the code parent=0& on the line 932, 1092, 1340, 1351, 1362, 1373

    Thank you for the reply. Is there a pro version of this theme because the file path you indicated in the reply was

    themes/easymag-pro

    Mine is free version from the repo here so there’s no easymag-pro file. If the file modification is only available to the pro version, I’ll probably just try to work around it.
