Some Variations in cart (and orders) show Variation ID instead of parent title

    Since the 3.0.x update some products began to show Variation ID in the cart and orders (which also end up on 3rd party plugins, like PDF Invoice/Shipping list). Not all products and product variations have this, only some product have this, but I can’t figure out why they do this, and replacing +100 products incl. variations will take a lot of time.

    Anybody who’s got the same issue and/or has a fix for this?

    Bump; 3.0.4 did not fix this.

    Three variable products: only one shows it correctly..

    @mikejolley, has there been an update regarding product name/title for showing these in cart/checkout/generated documents? In cart.php, changing get_name to get_title fixes the above mentions problem of the title – but just for the cart, other pages might need a similar fix. Is there anyone that could lend a hand?

    FIX: Open all products that have this issue: switch the variations (but don’t save), switch it back to original value, save: problem resolved.

    Now to identify all products w/ this issue.

    There is indeed better default naming for variations. It updates on save but should also on read. That read does not look like it triggered in the first screen shot though.
