Some users lost their “Users” tab in their Dashboard with latest update

  • Hello! Love your plugin.

    Some of our staff members have lost their ability to edit and help user accounts, their “User” tab in their dashboard all together is just gone. We believe this happened when we updated the plugin yesterday. So far, we have been unable to roll back the plugin version. We have checked, and have screenshots, the users are set up correctly – not sure what this bug is.

  • Experiencing the same issue with latest update.

    Edit:
    Admin users can view the User tab in dashboard but users with permissions to view this tab before can no longer access hover options for users in the users tab.

    They can view the users but user capabilities on-hover are missing.

    Check as admin if user (his role) still has at least ‘list_users’, ‘edit_users’ capabilities. If ‘Yes’, try to deactivate all plugins. If it will help, activate plugins back one by one in order to isolate a conflict.

    Btw., I’m sure that the latest version 4.56.1 does not contain any code to change access to the ‘Users’ admin menu or actions available for the selected user at the ‘Users’ page.
