    Good day,
Im currently translating the plugin to Persian since i need it urgently but some of the translated strings are still showing in the original language (English). not sure why. once again this is only happening to some of the translated strings. is there some sort of ID assigning to identify the translations in the php code or this is coming from somewhere else?

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch we do appreciate your time.

Could I ask if you are comfortable with editing translations directly within their PO files? This can be achieved via FTP, in the event that you are comfortable/familiar with the process.

We do have documentation on this here: https://wp-livechat.com/docs/features/quickview/plugin-features/localization/

In some cases, translation strings are considered ‘Fuzzy’ (also referred to as ‘Needs work’). These strings are ignored during translation to avoid incorrect strings being used.

This means you would need to edit the PO file, and mark those strings as ‘Not Fuzzy’ or ‘Does not need work’ accordingly.

    I hope this helps?

thanks for your reply but guess I didn’t make my point right. I’m translating using PO files. and yes I’m familiar with the process since I’ve been working with other projects for a long time but this time for some reason some of the translations don’t show up and instead shows the original English strings.

    Hi there,

Thank you for clarifying, I do appreciate it.

Could I ask you to confirm if you have enabled the localization option located under Live Chat -> Settings -> Styling -> I’m using a localization plugin?

This will enable the use of the PO files within the system.
