• Hi,
I have already used several times wordpress with different themes free and paid.
Some themes as virtue give the possibility to modify the various page directly while other themes as spacious in order to modify the page require other page builder plug in as elementor.
Can you clarify to me if it is an intrinsic limit of some themes that cannot be solved?
    Thank you

  • Do they force you to or suggest you to install said plugin. I have a feeling you would be able to create basic pages with said themes but to get the layout as they have in their demo they would suggest you use a builder plugin such as elementor to assist you.

No, they do not neither suggest nor force this. However, I tried to create basic page even with a new template.php file without success.
    Any suggestion?

I’m not sure i know what you mean then. I just installed the free version of spacious and I can create, modify, trash pages just like any other normal theme / WordPress install. Could you describe what happens vs what you expect to happen please?

I can only modify my home page as you can see here while if a create a new page I cannot edit it as you can see here. I can only use page builder plugin in order to modify the page.
It is the first time that this happen. In the same website if I change the theme to virtue, I can edit all the pages.

If I install Elementor Page Builder Plugin I can click the [x] at the very bottom left of my screen which gives ot the options of either viewing the live page or go back to the dashboard. If I go back to the dashboard, then navigate back to the page I was editing ( in the admin ) I can see a big gray button under the main title which says “Back to WordPress Editor” where I can use the normal TinyMCE Editor WordPress provides by default.

Maybe contact your host, it’s difficult to say as I don’t think it has to do with the theme. It may be permission issues with the user role or user itself. Maybe someone has customized the theme and put in their own user restrictions. Maybe provide some screenshots using imgur.com or something similar of what you see when you edit a page?

    Hi,
I installed wordpress into another hosting service and I tried with an empty website and the result was the same.
Then, I disable all the plug in and I found that the strange behavior depends on polylang plug in ??
Do you know how can I fix it? Is spacious theme incompatible with polylang?
    Thank you
