Some submissions skip the DB

    I have an intermittent problem which I cannot replicate:

    Some website users are seeing submission errors on our contact form so are sending the message multiple times. We are receiving the messages as expected via email however these contact form submissions “skip” the Contact Form DB list.

    Other contact form submissions arrive via email and show in the Contact Form DB list as expected.

    All plugins are up to date.
    PHP version 7.4.32
    PHP memory limit 256 MB

    I don’t expect that this caused by Contact Form DB – Elementor but I’m interested to know why these certain submissions are skipping the DB.

    I found the solution:

    I was running both WP MAIL SMTP and the SendInBlue plugin, which was causing issues with the contact form and transactional emails. I assumed that you needed both plugins working.

    SOLUTION: I removed the SendInBlue plugin, connected WP MAIL SMTP to SendInBlue via the API, and all is working correctly now.
