Some Social Links Do Not Appear (eg TikTok)

  • Hello!

    I use OceanWP 3.1.3 (the latest version) with Child Theme.

    I am trying to add TikTok in my Social Links widget (as I saw in your changelog, you say that TikTok and Medium added).

    However in the admin page (Widgets) I see two Social Options (probably TikTok and Medium???) without title (just a dot). Please, see the screenshots:

    These two links are not working. Even if I add a url nothing new appears in social links.

    Just tried on local and it is working well for me.

    Are you using the latest version of the theme and Ocean Extra plugin?
    Have you also added any custom code for adding icons?

    In addition, Would you be so kind and go to Elementor > System Info and share the report with us so that we can take a look?

    Well, I use the latest versions, OceanWP and Ocean Extra. Everything is up to date.

    No I did not add any custom code. I must do it?

    I do not use Elementor. Gutenberg is fine for me :).

    That is really odd, Please try to switch to the parent theme and check if it is working well or getting the same issue.

    Here is what I’m getting on local.

    If not resolved after switching to the parent theme, Try to disable all the nonocean plugins and check if it is working well or facing the same issue. If working well, enable the plugins one-by-one, and refresh the page after enabling each plugin, to check the conflict issue.

    Well, disabling plugins in a production web-site could cause serious problems.

    So I found this workaround: I replaced OceanWP icons with Gutenberg built-in Social icons.
