    Hi, microbe.

I noticed on the BLOOD HARVEST page that the GoodReviews/Goodreads iframe doesn’t appear in the source code. That either means something is wrong with the shortcode OR the page is cached from a point prior to when the shortcode was issued.

Can you post the shortcode for that title here? Also, are you certain the ISBN you’re using for that title is the one that Goodreads has on record for it? You might try replacing the ISBN with the Goodreads ID in the shortcode just to see if you get a different result.

Thanks for using GoodReviews and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Hi

    Thanks for the quick response.

    The shortcode is [goodreviews isbn=”0312600518″ buyinfo=”off” bookinfo=”off”]

As I mentioned, it works fine, but only if I am logged in. So the ISBN is OK.

I had cleared the Goodreads cache, but not the main Cachify cache (although Cachify shouldn’t have any effect on an iframe, I think). I just did that and that one is good now.

However, this one was still not working.

    [goodreviews isbn=”0312381131″ buyinfo=”off” bookinfo=”off”]

I cleared the Goodreviews cache again and it seems fine. I wonder, is this an issue at Goodreads end, do you think?

If Cachify caches WordPress objects, it could have an effect. The GoodReviews plugin uses WordPress transients to improve performance. If you manually clear the GoodReviews cache, it’s simply cleaning out its own transients.

However, if Cachify is handling objects, it’s most likely taken responsibility for GoodReviews caching. That doesn’t entirely explain your experience with the SACRIFICE page, but it could be that that was simply a remaining browser cache issue after you cleared Cachify.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can be of further assistance!

    Thanks again.

I will watch this issue and let you know if I have anything further to add. Great plugin, we have been using it most of this year and this is the first issue of any kind we have had with it.

    Regards

    Tim
