some questions regarding url.

  • Hi,

    i have some questions on URL permalinks,.

    1) by default word press’s category are like
    domain.com/category/uncategorized
    domain.com/category/foods etc.

    how to change it to
    domain.com/uncategorized
    domain.com/foods

    2) which url is better for seo?

    domain.com/foods/milk
    or
    domain.com/milk
    where ‘milk’ is the postname.

    3) Which plugin can change the title of the page by some rules.

    suppose my site name is ‘xyz’, but i want to show my sites title as ‘welcome to xyz’
    and add some pre and post default value to aarticles.
    like
    i create a post name ‘Milk’
    but i want to show the title of the page as Good Milk – My site name
    so the title tag should automatically set as Good %t – My site name.
    where %t will be the title.

    Any help will be great,

    i tried the plugin by fubra limited. but it didn’t worked because of wp version.

    i got a plugin name SEO which automatically change the title. but not the url.

    suppose i have the post ‘Milk’
    i want to show everywhere in the site the post name as ‘Milk’
    but in title it should shown as Good Food Milk and in url good-food-milk

    thats what i want.
