    Hi everyone,

I’m starting out my blog and am quite new at html and css. The problem is that I can’t align my text with my pictures. I want to have text underneath some pictures but they go further than the edges of the picture. How can I fix this? I already tried some codes mentioned on this forum but they don’t work.

Other question is how do I make sure that if I click the ‘home’ button, it goes to the latest blogposts which is the frontpage.

And lastly, how do I customise a read more button? Ideally, I would like to have ‘read more’ appear as a hover over the image but is that realistic for me?

    Thanks!!

    1. The text is aligned to the pictures from here: See screenshot, so it looks like you fixed that one. Let me know if I’m not looking in the right place.

    2. Go to Admin page > Appearance > Menus. Go to Custom links, add the home page url and the “Home” title. Drag and drop it into place at the head of the menu, then delete the old Home link. Click “Save Menu”.

    3. To do this you will need to write a JavaScript. This runs in the user’s browser to monitor the read more link for a user hover, and then display the required hover box. Honed Javascript skills will be needed for this development. Its unlikely that someone would write it for you via a forum answer.
