some questions!

Hi guys..
i’m working on a small website (goodidea.afiua.com)
i have some questions for you:

+ it there any plugin for the newsletter, but i don’t want to send email to the users every post, i want to send email to the newsletter in particular occasion [eg. new services, etc..]

+ i want to show a random post in some friends website (they insert a code in their websites), i thought to use the random post plugin, then call that function from a file like gighenpost.php on my server, but i guess, i have to include something more……..
