Hi @jaspash,
Thank you for your message.
1. Can the original files be deleted after the convertion? This is a must for me, since I need to make room in my server.
Our plugin is not used to optimize the amount of disk space used. The plugin can be used to optimize the weight of images loaded on the website, which makes the website load faster. Our plugin does not modify or delete original files. Files converted to WebP and AVIF formats are saved in a separate directory: /wp-content/uploads-webpc/.
2. Will all the thumbs (of the original file) be converted to webp?
Our plugin optimizes all files from the /uploads directory, so yes – all image sizes will be optimized.
3. Can I revert / undone a process?
Our plugin does not modify or delete original files. Just deactivate the plugin and then all the rules from the .htaccess file responsible for redirections will be removed. Then the original files will be loaded.
4. I guess all the references in the pages where the images are use will be updated too. I mean that a page showing the image my_image.jpp will be replace by my_image.webp. Can you confirm this to me?
The plugin does not change URLs to images, so when looking at the source of the website, you will see the URLs for the default images all the time. The plugin creates redirections to output files in WebP and AVIF format, changing the MIME type of these images, but without changing the URL.
Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:

5. Is fully compatible with Woocommerce?
It doesn’t matter, the plugin will work without problems. It doesn’t matter how the images are loaded. Our plugin does not modify the HTML code, it only performs redirects at the server level.
6. Is fully compatible with WPML?
It doesn’t matter, the plugin will work without problems. It doesn’t matter how the images are loaded. Our plugin does not modify the HTML code, it only performs redirects at the server level.
7. Can I select a single folder: i.e: uploads/2019/12 to execute the conversion JUST for this folder?
By default, all files in the /uploads directory are converted. In the Advanced Settings tab in the plugin settings you can exclude selected directories and then files from these directories will not be optimized.
8. My site uses two builders: Elementor and UXBuilder. Will the plugin replace the images in the pages where I used these builders?
It doesn’t matter, the plugin will work without problems. It doesn’t matter how the images are loaded. Our plugin does not modify the HTML code, it only performs redirects at the server level.
If you have any other questions, please, feel free to reach out to me. We will try to help you.
Best,
Mateusz
