We are having a problem where random ordered don’t seem to include all products from a customer’s order. For example, a customer will order 4 items and the Order Notes only list out 2 of the products the customer purchased. However, the Order Notes does list out stock reduction data on each item purchased, including for products that are missing from the order.

We use ShipStation to manage our shipping, which sends an order feed to a FileMaker database which prints out the contents of each order for final fulfillment, packaging and shipping.

Because Woocommerce isn’t fully transferring all products from an order to ShipStation; FileMaker is printing out incomplete order fulfillment lists. This is causing a big problem because orders are getting shipped with missing items.

I believe the problem is on Woocommerce’s end, because when I look into the ShipStation logs I’m seeing the same items missing from the order. My understanding is that Woocommerce sends the order data to ShipStation when an order is completed, so I believe the issue is originating in Woocommerce somewhere.

    We’re running WordPress v6.2.2, and Woocommerce v7.7.2

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

  • Hi,

To start checking into this, can you please provide us with the following information?

It would be great if you share your System Status Report, found under WooCommerce > Status, on your site.

Please provide screenshot of the orders affected (You can redact the sensitive information e.g. names, emails, phone numbers, etc). For screenshots, you may want to use https://snipboard.io and then provide us with the screenshot link.

    Thanks.

    Hi Igor,

Thank you for your reply, as it turns out we found out what was causing missing items on random orders. Apparently, products that didn’t show up in our shipping list had somehow been marked as virtual products (no idea how that happened, we’re still trying to figure that out!). That’s why they stopped showing up in our shipping lists.
