i installed the plugin and got it on my blog page. i had to change the reading settings to make the static blog page at the default value (which is fine i guess), but even after that, the default wordpress blog still shows up on the page below the blog designer area. any ideas how i can deal with this?

i’m having problems with most of the styling elements in the plugin settings area. they simply don’t seem to work (like changing the font sizes, font color, background color, etc). also when i click on a post to show the post page, it brings me to the default wordpress blog post page. i confirmed this by the difference in social sharing icons and the design.

despite these issues i can see it’s a great plugin from the live demo (the pro version anyway). i plan to buy it when i have the money, but i have a question first. what i want to do is have blog posts display on the page, but i want there to be filter tabs at the top of the page (not the nav bar) dividing the posts by categories. could i do that with the pro version?

the theme i use has a lot of blog stuff and page options. maybe there’s interference?

after testing, i was able to solve the problem of having both blogs on the same page by deleting the main blog page and creating a new and different page for the blog designer blog (would be nice if the plugin can override the wordpress blog entirely).

the formatting settings work to some degree on the main blog page (like blog design, social share settings, etc), but it seems all of the styling settings don’t work (like font color, font size, background color, etc).

when i click on the blog post to view the full post page, it still defaults to the wordpress version. i have a better idea of the problem though. i edited the blog settings in the highend theme options, and it had full affect on the posts page. i tried turning all of the settings off, but it didn’t fix the problem.

    Hi @kibbles,

First of all, if you required quick support with your queries then please create support ticket at our support portal.

Let’s move on all your queries one by one.

“would be nice if the plugin can override the wordpress blog entirely”

<< I think, you are using lite version plugin and that’s has limited functionality as you can design your blog page only.

But, Blog Designer PRO plugin gives you facility to design your blog page, single post page, archive pages and much more.

“but it seems all of the styling settings don’t work (like font color, font size, background color, etc).”

<< Please let us know your blog page link. So, we can cross check at our end as well if any theme style conflict with plugin’s design.

“when i click on the blog post to view the full post page, it still defaults to the wordpress version.”

<< Please checkout difference between lite and pro version. You may get an idea about that feature.

“I edited the blog settings in the highend theme options, and it had full affect on the posts page. i tried turning all of the settings off, but it didn’t fix the problem.”

<< We are not facing this type of issue. May be that is related to browser cache or any cache related plugins.

Please create support ticket at our support portal with login details. So, we can cross check that things from our side.

    Best Regards
