Hi, updated to version 4.0.0 today and having some odd issues when adding Single and Series Events.

    1) All New Events have the “This event does not have a physical location” box ticked. Annoying as all my Events have a location and means 1 extra step to add an Event.

    2) Some saved Locations need to be resaved as the marker has reset too in the middle of the ocean/earth. I can not find any logic to this, seems random but might be related to the issue below.

    3) When searching for an existing Location in the “Location Name” box, I can only select the first result. If I try and select the second, third result in the list and click Publish I get an error that the location needs postcode etc…

I have resaved “Events Manager – OpenStreetMaps” settings, cleared cache. I will try rolling back to previous version and let you know if everything is ok.

Let me know if you need any other info.

    Regards, David

Just to confirm, version 3.0.0 works as expected, so sorry to say something might not be right with version 4.0.0 ??

    Hi David,

Thank so much for letting me know. I had tested it extensively, and did not encounter these issues. Also, I changed noting with the “No Location” checkbox, so that is really surprising! *big eyes* ??

Also the Ajax search had been the same since 2.8.

But of course I will look into it! ?? I will get back to you soon

Okay, version 4.0.1 should solve these issues.

    To give you an idea:
    1) The checkbox was selected in new events, because the check returned 0 instead of null/empty/false. So I changed $EM_Event->location_id to $location_id. Solved it.

    2) That occurred because of no.3. If you had not set a different color Leaflet marker in the previous version, the plugin would not look for the defaults.

    3) Added a fallback for empty Ajax values. 4 lines of code.

@duisterdenhaag thanks for update and fixing this. I have just tested v 4.0.1 and everything seems to be working perfectly.

    Have a great New Year.
