Is there a complete list of shortcodes somewhere? Because the ones included in the plugin documentation are incorrect.

I’m trying to display a grid of products on a page, but I want medium-sized images and I can’t get it to work. The documentation says the shortcode for medium is “MediumImage,” but that doesn’t work. Shortcode examples show “lg-image” for large and I was able to figure out “sm-image” for small (given that “SmallImage” doesn’t work). So I’ve tried “md-image,” “mdimage,” “mimage,” “m-image,” “medium-image,” “med-image,” “medimage,” and even “mmimage” and “mm-image,” but none of them work.

Also, I can’t get the grid to display in columns. Regardless of the image size, it only displays one column.

ETA: The grid now seems to be working, but still don’t know how to get a medium-sized image.

The latest version of the plugin will have an updated shortcode list and parameters for each. It is still a few days away from being released but we have a stable working version, if you want to try it out prior to release. If so, send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you the download link.

The field for the medium image in the amazon-grid shortcode is not working correctly in the current version. It was mistakenly removed, but should be med-image or MediumImage. The MediumImage field should still work in some instances, but only when that specific field is returned by the API (and it is only returned about 20% of the time, so it will most often not work). If you need a smaller image, you could still use the large image and use CSS to size it a bit smaller – or request the updated plugin and try that out.

In the upcoming new version, we have set a default if there is no MediumImage or med-image available. In this case, it will return the large image instead of nothing (which is what it currently does now).

Additionally, the upcoming new version of the plugin will have Gutenberg block support, so if you are using the new editor there will be an enhanced product layout block for each of the shortcode equivalents. Plus, there are about 20 bug fixes and some other enhancements and caching changes.

    Hope this helps.
    Warm regards,
    Don

The podcast for this site is still a few weeks or maybe even a month away from release, so I’ll wait until the new version is available. Thanks!

Ok – great. Should be ready at the beginning of next week.

If you decide you want to test before then, just email and we will send you the link.

    Regards,
    Don
