Some problems with homepage and “read more” option

  • Hi
    I found some problems with news on my homepage.
    I wanted to personalize “read more” option.
    1. When I`m trying to use “read more” option in news editor it shows only the part above that, and no “read more” text.
    2. When Im using "read more" option in theme editor it works, but I cant change it for specific news.
    I even tried to use some different plugins and still nothing.

    Can you help me?

    The Read More text in the news section comes from the custom setting in the Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customizing > Theme Options > Home Page Options > News Post Read More Text.

    It is thus an inbuilt theme feature that allows you to customize the Read more text.

    Kindly go through the settings and see if it resolves your issues.
