• Hi, I have been looking at this plugin and trying to read about it and it sounds really awesome. I would like to ask some pre-sale questions if allowed – I am new to this so please bare with me (I have emailed but waiting reply and have some more questions now):

    1. Would this plugin be able to handle this RSS feed (I checked the rss-feed validator you wrote about and it gives some errors however not so many):
      https://cv-wikan-se.app.intelliplan.eu/JobAdGlobe/Rss?pid=AA31EA47-FDA6-42F3-BD9F-E42186E5A960&version=2
    2. I have some custom fields using myles WPJM edit plugin for jobs. Would this plugin be able to see those so we can populate it?
    3. I also allow for images and coverimages etc. Would it be possible to populate those fields using this plugin or is it custom work needed?
    4. How heavy is the fetching process on my server? Can I allow it to run during the days or should it only run during night?
    5. I have a subdomain type of setup for a specific reason (which I am glad to present to better describe it to you) – would you allow one license for both places? ??

      Best regards,
      Flamur

Hello @flamuren, apologies for the late reply. I missed this message.

    Replying to your questions:

1 – that feed URL as is does not work. However, if you paste it on your browser, the URL resolves to this URL, which works:

    https://cv-wikan-se.app.intelliplan.eu/JobAdGlobePages/Feed.aspx?pid=AA31EA47-FDA6-42F3-BD9F-E42186E5A960&version=2

2 – If you have existing jobs that are already using those custom fields, then they should appear on the list of fields to map

3 – if the feed provides images/logos, you can map them to one of those fields, but only if the field supports a basic image src/url. If the field is meant to receive an image object, it will not work

4 – depends on your imports setup. If you are importing hundreds of jobs and doing multiple imports, scraping multiple metadata, it will be resource intensive. Its always recommended to setup the schedule to run on off-peak hours

    5 – sorry. if you’re using a multi-site you’ll need a license, per site

    1. the original one worked to import 160 jobs – have not pushed them to my website however. Wanted to check some more details before trying, so I am not messing up my website or DB. But can try this you sent also if needed.
    2. They appear. The problem is that we for example use different job categories than they do (and other field values in other fields also) – they write “industry” we write “Industry worker” just as an stupid example. How would this mapping work?
    3. Ok will look at that
    4. thanks, duly noted
    5. no problem. if we can get it to work it will hopefully be worth it ??

One thing that did not work when I just tested the feed was to choose who posted the jobs. I could only choose my admin account. I have their company set ut and uses their profile when I manually add their jobs, so it works, however your plugin did not find any other profile than mine to choose. Any idea why?
