Some posts don’t show on the front page

Posts are ordered chronologically on the front page but strangely some posts don’t appear. They’re published, tagged, and in categories but a few posts just don’t show on the front page. If you click on the category then you can find them there. I haven’t changed any of the Settings under Reading and I’m using a theme from woothemes.com

Any ideas?
