The issue is that from among 2 posts, one is showing perfectly but doesn’t show featured image (using featured image from url in this post).

Another post is showing featured image and all but the layout and design and functionality is totally broken in mobile and if I open the same amp post in desktop, it is showing normal.

Along with these issues, I am using wpdiscuz comments plugin which doesn’t appear to be doing well in amp.

    Theme:Astra Pro
    Caching Plugin: WP Rocket
    Image Optimization: Shortpixel adaptive images
    AMP Mode: Transitional

Using AMP JS redirect plugin from github.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Thanks for getting in touch. Are you also using a third party app for featured images, I can see a reference to fifu-featured?

Okay, so I think you didn’t saw the plugin name above.

This is it: Featured Image from URL pLugin.

Apologies, I see that now. Can you try and manually insert any of the same features images using the default feature image upload option? I suspect the images will work fine, with the issue being AMP compatibility for this plugin.

For queries in relation to the Featured Image from URL Plugin and AMP compatibility you’ll need to contact the plugin developer.

Okay, if I add self-hosted image as a featured image, then the problem could be solved you say. Then, let me tell you that this image is the one with the self-hosted image with amp but as you can see, the site is totally broken to the end.

If you too open the oldest post of the site in mobile (I am not sharing the url here., you can see but if you open the same post with amp on desktop, it is in good shape and nothing broken.

    What can be the issue?

EDIT 1:The site is using shortpixel adaptive images plugin with lazy-loading=on.

Did you try and disable the lazy loading feature for the Shortpixel plugin?

In many cases other plugins add functionality such as custom JavaScript which isn’t AMP compatible. Let me know if the same issue arises with lazy loading disabled or with any plugin with image functionality temporarily deactivated. Lazy loading is already part of every valid AMP URL.

I have only 3 images plugin.

    1. featured image from url
    2. shortpixel adaptive images
    3. resmush.it image optimizer

Now, if I check after enabling troubleshoot mode in health check and troubleshooting plugin, it always shows a blank page with no content. I checked with the default theme too and all plugins disabled. Nothing worked.

But, the blank page was too styled with the background color of the theme, like if background color of the theme is red, then red and if it is white, then white.

I also checked with inspecting element and page source, all clear.

All the posts and all other pages also are blank.??

EDIT1: amp pages are broken with no images after disabling all the images plugin too.

Thanks for the update. Looking at your site now the featured images are displaying in AMP URLs. Did you disable the additional plugins?

Please can you open all of these posts and all in your mobile phone? Please, don’t use the chrome developer tools to use as the mobile.

I am also in dilemma between the answer. It shows almost good in desktop but the same amp page does broke in mobile phone.

And, now, I have enabled all the images plugin again as there was no change.
But, please look at the recent post now, it is also broken and has loading issue in validation test.

Let me know what can I do now? Looking for your response.

All appears fine when checking from both my Android phone and also using any of the emulators, including Chrome. If you can share examples we’d be happy to investigate or check whether the issue may be related to third party plugins.
