• Hi there,
Recently I had a heathquake on my server, and from some strange things began to happen.
One of them are some posts/pages missing in my WordPress (4.0) installation, I can see them in the DB, but they don’t appear in the site nor in the post/page list in the dashboard.

    My trials:
    – reinstalled WP, keeping the DB
    – exported post table, trunked table and reimported.
    – disabled all plugins
    – switched permalinks numeric/post_name and called posts directly

    Nothing helped.

Is there any flag making posts/pages “deleted”?
How can I further investigate this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Giorgio

  • Hi Giorgio,

What is the value of the post-status field in those records?

    Hi Shawn,
    thank you for the reply
    post-status=inherit
    for all the revisions.

Looking inside something strange (to me).
    Post-name=”41-revision-v1″ for all the records,
Post-parent=41 but ID=41 does not exist.

    Pardon, too little information.
I’m looking at one post. It has 47 records, IDs from 42 to 1944, they have parent-id=41, but post ID=41 does not exist.
All the records have post-staus=inherit and post-name=”41-revision-v1″ as I wrote.
