    Hi Chris,

I am currently out of town for the holidays so I can’t really dig into this right now, but I took a quick look and I do see the sidebar menu displaying on your left sidebar. If you would post some more detail about what is not working someone may be able to help.

Here are some things to check which sometimes cause issues when updating themes and such:

    1. Is the plugin still activated?
    2. Has the widget been added to the correct widget area?
    3. Are the settings on the widget correct?

    Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!

Currently all I see is the name of the top level page. It used to show a list of all the sub pages under the main category in left sidebar.

yes, it is still activated. I did notice that my admin widget page is not working, it’s like the javascript is dead (drag and drop doesn’t work).

    Hi Chris,

Sounds like another plugin has broken your install. You could try deactivating the plugins one at a time and see which one is breaking your widget screen. Although, there could be an issue with more than one plugin, it is likely the same plugin breaking the widget screen and the menu output.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, I found the plugin that was breaking the widget screen (WP UI), and then enabled legacy Mode on the advanced sidebar plugin and it’s now working great again. Is using legacy mode okay for future wordpress updates?

    Hi Chris,

    Glad you found the issue.

Legacy mode is a different way of output the menu and should work just fine in the future. Non legacy mode is W3C compliant and recommended to use but not required.

    Happy New Year!
