Some pictures shown as blank square

    Hello,

    I tried this plugin and I like it, because it is so simple!

    I have a problem: I miss some of my photos. Instead there is a blank square. When I click the square, I get the message “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.”

    I can see the caption of the image, but the image is not shown. What I can I do to show all the images?

    Hi Kris.sie,

    Thanks for checking out my plugin and I’m glad you find it simple to use.

    At the moment, the plugin is referencing the image that is hosted on Facebook, so it sounds like there is something wrong with the URL to the image on Facebook, though it may only be temporary. You can try clicking “sync” on the album again in the admin to see if that fixes the issue.

    Also, I’m just about to release the next version of the plugin (0.2), which has the option to import all images from an album into WordPress instead of referencing them on Facebook. This new feature might fix your issue if clicking sync doesn’t work. Hope that helps.

    Sorry, but I can’t choose any album anymore. I write the facebook-id into the field and press the button “Find Albums”, but nothing happens.

    Currently all IDs have to be for public pages, so if the ID you enter is not public, nothing will happen. This plugin only works with Facebook images that are public. I’m working on allowing private images to be accepted as well, but that requires a bit more work. I’ll also need to add in more error handling so you know that it has errored rather than having it do nothing.

    I found out, that the blank squares only appear if the Adblocker is activated. ??
