Some photos don't load

same thing happening to me. All of the thumbs are loading to the page, but when clicking on them, it gets in a “loading” loop and never completes. It happens for about 20-30% of the images in the set.

Odd, but all of the images that are wider than they are tall are not loading to lightbox. the taller-than-wider images are.

Can you give me a link to a working page with these problems? Thanks

Still having an issue with this. For the life of me can’t figure out what it is. Some photos loud quickly and without issue. Others won’t load at all with it just spinning.

In all instances where an image won’t show, it’s a square crop (500×500 approx), but some of the square crops will be okay. It’s the oddest thing. Have had this issue for many months.

For me, wider than tall load fine, but squared images usually won’t.

For me the solution was to not crop 1:1 anymore. I don’t know if it’s a problem with Flickr rendering perfectly square images, or a problem with the plugin. Whether it’s the plugin or Flickr, it’s certainly a problem with square images. So I’ve just decided to crop 4:6 for now.

I am having the same issue. I have noticed that on the images that don’t load, the href attribute on the anchor tag that’s wrapping the img tag is empty (i.e. a href=””)

edit: I just did a little experimenting and if I set the “open_originals” attribute to true it seems to fix the problem. The images that aren’t loading for me are kind of small and i think that Flickr only has the originals. So it seems that the plugin will not load the image if there is only an original.

BTW, it would be nice to have a documentation page on the plugin web site where all of attributes of the plugin are listed
