• Hello,

Today I have noticed very strange situation. On my website there is a page which I did not create and they have 0 connection with me and I have noticed that page when I saw an email from my feedburner account.

At the end of my feedburner rss feed posts, there is a text which says: NAME OF THE ARTICLE is originally written by “sugar momma dating sites in south africa”

Somehow, someone could edit my domain name and entered that
[redundant link removed; let’s not help the spammers”]

I can not find this page among my posts and pages, no idea at all where the hell this page is. I want to delete but it is not listed. I even made a MYSQL database search for the word “sugar mommy” etc and no results returned.

I cant find that page in my ftp files too.

    I am losing my mind.

I am not even sure if there are more pages like that.

How is it possible that I dont even see them among my published posts?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Please let me know if you have an idea about what can this be?

*Last year I had similar issue and simply updating plugins and wordpress worked and those pages were gone. Now I did the same but page still remains.

    Thank you very much

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

As suggested a year ago, get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

Also, (1) that’s a 404 page, so it may be that your theme’s 404 handler has been hacked, (2) you’re using an insecure version of PHP in (3) an outdated version of Apache. Bring everything up to date!

    Appending to the previous answer,
Your site is very likely been compromised. You can’t find the ‘content data or strings or pages’ bc they are most certainly being inserted into your site dynamically using malicious code.

In addition to WordFence or Sucuri, I would also recommend MalCare:

If this has already ocurred, you may want to re-build your site and/or use a daily malware scanner.

@sterndata Thanks for the advice, checking the links now and will try to apply the steps.

Also the link is not a 404 page, opens here and also I did a site speed test on gtmetrix and the url returned results there as well, I saw the screenshot of actual page.

@corrinarusso Thanks for the advice, I installed it and it says malware found on the site but does not give more details, asks 99$ membership to fix it. It is too much to pay at this point, I will try to solve this manually first

Best of luck – post back here if you need feedback on anything.
