Some page missing in sitemap

    Hi, I just notice that my page is not present on my sitemap? do I need to re-update it on my google search console? I thought it was automatically updating?

    Hello!

    Pages marked with the “noindex” directive, and terms (like tags and categories), aren’t included in the sitemap.

    When search engines find a link to indexable pages, whether they’re in the sitemap or not, they’ll crawl them and index them accordingly. So, although the sitemap is a helpful tool to speed up indexing of pages, it won’t prevent having pages indexed that aren’t included.

    There are issues with how WordPress handles terms that prevent us from including them in the sitemap properly. You can read more about that in our KB article.
