Once again, I would like to make a few suggestions for the improvement of Masteriyo.

    1. When I click “Trash” for a course, there is no confirmation screen for this and the course is deleted instantly. That means a course might get deleted accidentally. There should be something like, “Are you sure?” here.

    2. I understand that “gap filling” will be one of the question types. It should be possible for the instructor to add alternatives into the field. For example, for the question “I —– (not/know) the answer.” there are two possible alternatives: “do not” and “don’t”. There should be something like “I |do not/don’t| (not/know) the answer.”

    3. When there is an “instructor request”, there should be a sort of notification for the administrator – perhaps through an email message or a popup message when the administrator signs in.

  • Yes I agree with number 1 about deleting item
But about number 2 , I think there is no difference between do not $ don’t

I know there is no difference, but currently you – as a teacher – can select only “do not” or “don’t” as possible alternatives, but not both of them. If you select “do not” and a student enters “don’t” in the gap, the answer will be marked as “Wrong” by Masteriyo even though it is correct. Multiple alternatives save time and effort on the part of the teacher because the teacher does not have waste time on finding questions where only one alternative is correct. Do/Would you agree, my friend/pal/chum? ??

    Hello @hakangur and @wahidhf

First of all, thank you for your suggestion.

    1. As for course trashing, it is similar to WordPress default behaviour. When you click trash course it doesn’t show the confirmation. You can find the trash courses through the course filter dropdown (All, Published, Draft and Trash). Now, if you delete the trashed course then the pop up shows up for delete confirmation.

2 and 3. We will note down this feature and will discuss it with our team. It might be a good feature for our pro version.

Please keep suggesting so that we can make this plugin even better.

    Thank You

Let me confess this: I had never used the “All” link and therefore I had no idea about these various options. Thanks for everything.
