Some orders not picked up

HI I have the most recent version of this plugin and have found that in GA some of my orders are not getting through so it doesn’t appear to reflect true conversion rates etc. Is there something that usually causes this and is there anything I can do about it or is it just something that happens from time to time.
There doesn’t appear to be any consistency between the ones that don’t get through either. Some are guests, some are users. The products are different and it’s not all in one block. I’d really like to resolve as it’s making GA figures really inconsistent and if business decisions are being made based on them that’s an issue.
I’m concerned that some tracking code may be missing and the installation instructions have slightly confused me. The installation tab looks straight forward, however on the general plugin page it states a few different things that need to be done (or the plugin automatically does?) I can’t tell if I should have taken further steps.
Any help would be appreciated.
