Hello ipman91
Thank you for contacting Woo support.
I understand you are facing two problems with the Stripe plugin:
1- You got duplicate emails for an order notification.
2- Some orders have the payment failed at Stripe but they show as Paid on your WooCommerce dashboard. Is my understanding of the problem correct?
About the problem 1, is this happening for all orders or just a few ones?
Could you share screenshots of the emails you got?
You can hide any sensitive information.About the problem 2, is this happening for multiple orders?
If it is, then have you noticed any similarities between those orders?I saw the order notes you shared, but they are not in English.
Could translate the text and then share the text with me?
You may use any translation tool like Google Translate.Once I have more information, I will be able to assist you further.
I look forward to your reply. ??Best regards.

Hello ipman91
Thank you for your reply and translation.
The order notes indicate that charges are authorized for later capture but they fail afterwards.
For better understanding, could you please share your Stripe Settings page?
Go to your WooCommerce → Settings → Payments tab and then click Stripe.
Then go to the Stripe Settings page.
You may need to create multiple screenshots after scrolling down the page.
Here is an example screenshot:I look forward to your response. ??
Best regards.
Hi @ipman91
The team is already aware of this issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2463
At the time being, we can’t give you an estimate for when the team will look into or fix the issue, as bug reports are prioritized based on a few criteria. Please subscribe to the GitHub issue if you’d like to receive updates.
Meanwhile, as a temporary workaround, use legacy checkout experience.
I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
Hi there. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
Hello,
the Problem is still there.
Hi @ipman91
Are you still having this issue even using the legacy checkout experience?
However, as explained in my previous reply, our dev team is already aware of this issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2463

Hello,
my other Problem is, that i get this Message:
Stripe charge authorized (Charge ID: ch_XXXXXX). Process order to take payment, or cancel to remove the pre-authorization. Attempting to refund the order in part or in full will release the authorization and cancel the payment. Order status changed from Pending payment?to?On?hold.
We get email for an order. But if i am looking in woocommerce the Payment is failed. Is possible to never to change a Stripe Payment to pendings orders ?

Can you reproduce it? I tried but not able to reproduce it.
However, if a payment is marked as failed in WooCommerce but you’ve received an email confirming the order, it’s possible there might be a delay or issue with the communication between Stripe and WooCommerce. In this case, I would recommend checking your WooCommerce Stripe Gateway settings and ensuring that your webhook endpoints are configured correctly.
Also, it’s not possible to prevent a Stripe payment from ever being marked as pending in WooCommerce. The pending status is typically used when an order has been received, but the payment hasn’t been confirmed yet.
I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Yes this happen on some clients orders, but everything is setup okay.
Hi @ipman91,
Yes this happen on some clients orders, but everything is setup okay.
In order to troubleshoot this forward, please enable the debug mode on your Stripe settings (WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Stripe → Settings → Debug Mode → Log error messages) and when you get any orders with such an issue please share the relevant error log (under WooCommerce > Status > Logs).
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.
Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.
Thanks!
