Some of your translations are out of date

    I have not been able to figure out how to fix this, but I receive this message when trying to update translations using WP 4.0.1:

    Updating translations for Twenty Twelve (nb_NO)…

    It’s not an issue of the translation being up to date or not, “Permission denied” is the key here.

    It’s probably related to why you can’t upload media files in an earlier thread you were a part of.

    Try setting the permissions of the /wp-content/languages/themes/ directory to 777.

    sorry for my late response, but thanks for you`re suggestion. It does not have anything with the uploading of the media files (GoDaddy fixed that – it was a capacity problem on their side).

    I see that you suggest using Directory 777 so I have not done what you suggest as many on the forum say it comes with a lot of risks using that high number.

    So the issue is still unsolved I`m afraid. Thanks again for taking the time to suggest a way forward

    It does come with risks, but if you would please try it temporarily (5 minutes, probably less), it will help us to determine the problem.
