Some newbie support

  • As a newbie, not finding WordPress anywhere near as intuitive to use as I expected, so lots of basic questions. Two to start:

    How do I completely get rid of the comments box at the bottom of my front page?

    Why can I change the “featured image” on this page, but on any other pages I create even when I set featured image to something of my own, I am stuck with the image that came with the theme?
