Some links on page not working

Hi

I have a page where a link is not linking despite it saying there is a link markup.

It says:

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
<span style="font-size: 24pt;">FIND A RETAILER | <a href="https://sitename.au/online-stores/">ONLINE SHOPPING</a></span>

<strong>AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND</strong>

The link won’t go to the online-stores link.

Other links on the page do work.
If I move the link to a new link without any style it also works.

I resaved the permalinks on the offchance, but no change.

Any idea why this link isn’t working and what I can do to get it to work.
